So, the unthinkable has happened–you can’t get an erection when you need it the most. Fortunately, in this the year of our Lord 2015, you know that you have options for solving this embarrassing little problem. You’ve seen the commercials with the older (almost always heterosexual) couples lovingly embracing, or maybe the commercial the the weird-ass British lady speaking creepily, and you know that Viagra–also known as “the little blue pill”–is a thing that exists as a treatment for erectile dysfunction.
Now that you have this information, you might be wondering–how the heck do I go about getting Viagra?
Buy Viagra pills in Melbourne
Well, first of all, you’re gonna have to talk to your doctor. After all, Viagra requires a prescription to purchase. So, prepare yourself for that conversation. Doctors are used to this sort of thing, so you totally don’t have anything to be humiliated about.
Once you’ve gotten your prescription, you’ll have to head to your pharmacy to pick it up and pay for it. The price of Viagra varies upon a) the dosage, b) the number of pills, and c) your particular pharmacy. 10 tablets (at 25 mg of sildenafil) will run you about $380–that’s $38 a boner, just to be clear. A month’s worth of Viagra is closer to $1000. Yeesh. That’s a better value than buying 10 pills, though, so I dunno, I guess that’s something to consider.
As with any medication, side effects may occur from taking Viagra. Some of the more common side effects that don’t require immediate medical attention include aching muscles, bloody nose, diarrhea, flushing, headache, sneezing, stuffy/runny nose, or trouble sleeping. Side effects that should receive immediate medical attention include cloudy/bloody urine, dizziness, indigestion, changes in vision/hearing, and fever/chills.
There’s also the infamous erection-that-lasts-four-hours-or-longer that’s supposed to be pretty painful and unpleasant. Seriously, go to a doctor if that happens.
I have been working in General Practice since 2006.
