Kamagra tablets are also known as generic Viagra and is used to treat male erectile dysfunction. The active ingredient in Kamagra tablets is Sildenafil Citrate, a drug discovered and developed in the UK by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. The tablet is taken with a large glass of water an hour before intercourse and the effects generally last for between 4-6 hours. Although generally safe to use, it is recommended that patients discuss taking Kamagra tablets with their doctor prior to taking it. Although it is reported that Kamagra contains the same active ingredients as Viagra, it is not licenced for sale in the UK. As a prescription only medicine (POM) it would have to be prescribed specifically for the patient by a doctor. It is illegal to buy or sell POM without a prescription in the UK so it is only possible to buy Kamagra on an offshore website. A medical questionnaire would need to be filled out and doctors would assess the patient’s suitability for the medicine.
